Look for wavesThe pin-straight hair of 2009 seems to be making a graceful exit, yielding to hair that is still straight and shiny but sporting layers to give it more body.
Ease up on gels, stiff sprays and high-heat straighteners. The look will be totally unforced, said Angela Gualtieri, salon manager and creative director of Franklyn Studio in Camp Hill . While shorter styles might emerge as the hair apparent, waves will be the way to go for women who opt for longer locks.
Experts are showing “much more wavy hair, but not permed hair,” Gualtieri said. Waves made with hot rollers and curling irons are predicted to be big.
